Easy Blender Salsa

As far as I’m concerned chips and salsa are their own food group; I could (gladly) eat my weight in them. This salsa is the easiest darn salsa you’ll ever make. But not only is it easy as heck, it is SO SO good. No weird ingredients, no hassle and no fuss.

Typically with this salsa I use a can of whole peeled tomatoes, however we couldn’t find any at the store so I used diced tomatoes instead and it worked perfectly. Use whatever 28 ounce can of tomatoes you can find, don’t stress about it!

Ingredients:

28 oz can of either whole peeled tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, or diced tomatoes

1 small onion (cut into fourths)

2 handfuls of cilantro

1.5 tsp salt

1.5 tsp cumin

juice of 1 lime

1-2 cloves garlic, minced

optional: jalapeño (to taste)

In a blender, combine all ingredients. Pulse until desired consistency is reached. Chill in fridge or enjoy right away.
